Villa Azzurra is located in the Terrasini area, along the steep and rocky coast bathed by the turquoise waters of the Tyrrrhenian Sea. The villa is only 100m from the sea, about 15km from the Airport of Palermo and about 8km from the town of Terrasini, a tourist resort with all kinds of services and shops open all yearround and with interesting cultural activities that enhance the Sicilian character. The cultural city of Palermo is about 30km away.
Villa Azzurra enjoys a privileged location not only for its spectacular sea view but also as it belongs to the area protected by the Mediterranean Nature Preservation Programme.
Inside, the villa offers a cosy atmosphere enhanced by a living-dining room with panoramic windows, fireplace and some handmade furnishings. There is a kitchen equipped with gas oven, refrigerator and dishwasher. A washing machine is available. The bedroom area is accessed through the living-dining room. There are three bedrooms, one with queen sized bed and two with twin beds. A bathroom with shower is available too. The decoration is sober but elegant and comfortable at the same time.
Outside the property is surrounded by a nice and well maintained garden with decorative plants and cultivated grasses; there is also a swimming pool (6m x 12m) with springboard and different levels of depth. The barbeque corner is an enjoyable place for outdoor dinners. It is equipped not only with gas oven but with a wooden hub, a characteristic element found in the traditional Sicilian cuisine and decorated with a splendid collection of ceramics from all over the world.
The property has direct access to the sea through a path and further steps that lead to a small plateau on the sea. Please consider that the approximate depth is about 8m. The sandy beach of Terrassini is about 10km from the villa. There is available parking inside the property courtyard.
