Teverina Bassa

Il Granaio

This is a little different from the other places we rent in that it is centred around a restaurant, started in 2006 and already considered the top eating place in the Niccone valley. This is where we run our one and two day cookery courses.

The accommodation is in an old farmhouse building. There is plenty of space both lawned and meadow and a fenced pool. It look down the Niccone valley from a terrace on a gentle hillside above a small hamlet which has a small supermarket.

In addition to the private accommodation all guests may use a large sitting room/ common room with books, magazines, satellite TV, CD player, tea and coffee making and wine available.

There are two mini apartments and four double bedrooms with bathrooms. All the rooms have retained the qualities of a stone built farmhouse with chestnut beams, the best of Italian ceramics and top quality beds and other furniture.
Child beds can be placed in each of the apartments and rooms. There is no charge for a child under 11.

Mini-Apartments

Glicine - The larger of the two apartments is on two floors, on the upper floor there is a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom (shower), below is a double sofabed, kitchenette (4 rings, fridge, utensils, sink), large stone fireplace, dining table and chairs.

Lavanda - mini apartment

has the similar layout to Glicine but with a single sofabed and just two cooking rings
The ground floor has a small kitchenette area, dining area, large stone fire place and sofa bed with terracotta flooring. Upstairs : a comfortable bedroom with a wrought iron four poster bed, bathroom with shower and bidet, and chestnut wooden floor.

Rooms

Paprika
A large ground floor room divided into living area and bedroom with a half separation wall. The bathroom has a large double shower and bidet.

Zafferano
A large ground floor room : double bed and a single day bed, a spacious bathroom with bath (hand shower attachment) and bidet.

Salvia
A large first floor room with south and southwest facing windows. A comfortable room with a raised level bed area accessed by three steps, spacious bathroom with bath, shower and bidet.

Pepe Rosa
A ground floor room with double bed, the bathroom has been adapted for the disabled including shower low level basin and bidet.

Weekly prices

Breakfast is included in all the rates.

Mini-Apartments : Glicine and Lavanda
31 May to August 30 (and Easter period)
£75 per night for two people - extra person (above 11 years old) £13 extra.
Or
Half board - includes full gourmet dinner £55 per person (with two adults a child is free).

Rest of year
£65 per night for two peope - extra person (above 11 years old) £13 extra.
Or
Half board - includes full gourmet dinner £45 per person (with two adults a child is free).

Rooms

£62 per night for two people - extra person (above 11 years old) £13 extra.
Or
Half board - includes full gourmet dinner £48 per person (with two adults a child is free).

£55 per night for two people - extra person (above 11 years old) £13 extra.

To confirm a booking a deposit of one third of total is required, the rest to be paid six weeks before the arrival date.
The above prices are fully inclusive of bed linen and towels.
